Bord Gáis Energy was formed in 1976 and is the retail and procurement arm of Bord Gáis Eireann. We are a wholly Irish owner semi state company and our origins are in the sourcing and supply of natural gas. During this period we have gained an unrivalled knowledge of energy markets and pricing mechanisms. The liberalisation of the market in Ireland has given us the opportunity to broaden our energy interests.
