Bord Gáis Energy Supports Wind Energy Training Programme for Waterford Teachers and Students
03.11.2011Bord Gáis Energy has partnered with the Irish Wind Energy Association (IWEA) to run 'KidWind' - a four day renewable energy training course for secondary school teachers which started on Tuesday and will run until Friday, 4th November, in the Clarion Hotel, Cork. This course is being delivered by Dundalk Institute of Technology (DKIT) and aims to educate young people on the importance and value of wind energy in Ireland today and into the future. 
Bord Gáis & Live Nation agree major new partnership deal
24.10.2011 Bord Gáis Energy has announced a major new six and a half year commercial partnership with Live Nation that will see the Grand Canal Theatre rebranded The Bord Gáis Energy Theatre from 7th March 2012; provide complimentary tickets, discounts on tickets and advance access to purchase tickets to Bord Gáis Energy's one million customers; and see Bord Gáis Energy become the energy provider to the theatre and other Live Nation venues.

13.07.2011 Bord Gáis Energy is to increase its residential electricity prices by 12% from 1st August 2011. This is the first time that the company has increased prices since entering the residential electricity market in February 2009 and follows two successive cumulative price cuts of 15% in May and October 2009.
