With the goal of supporting families to become more energy efficient, Bord Gáis Energy, one of Ireland’s leading energy supply and services providers, is bringing a brand-new interactive and fully sustainable stand to this year’s Ideal Home Show. The Ideal Home Show takes place at the RDS from Friday, 26 April to Sunday, 28 April.

At the Speaker Corner, Bord Gáis Energy experts will deliver panel discussions on a range of sustainable services and solutions including solar, home heating solutions, boilers, and heat pumps.

The interactive stand aims to immerse both children and adults in the journey towards Net Zero, by showcasing a range of energy-saving products through a light-up and learn miniature home model, along with a visual educational zone. Visitors can also follow the Bord Gáis Energy sustainability journey, from the milestones achieved to date, to its roadmap for achieving Net Zero status by 2045.

Commenting on the Ideal Home Show stand, Head of Net Zero Operations at Bord Gáis Energy Cormac Mannion said: “In Ireland today, there are over half a million homes that could greatly benefit from an energy upgrade. With so much information out there, it can be hard to know where to start. At Bord Gáis Energy, we have been serving Irish families and businesses for almost 50 years, and we are focused on providing critical advice and innovative solutions to visitors at this year’s Ideal Home Show. Our services and solutions are re-imagining how we use our energy, for example, turning your house into a smart home or protecting the future of those we care about with our sustainable solutions.

We look forward to an interactive, educational and inspiring weekend at the Ideal Home Show where our expert team will be on hand to help customers in making their homes more energy efficient and reducing their carbon footprint. Together, we're energising a greener, fairer future for everyone."
