How do I know if my boiler is covered under the 10 Year Boiler Warranty?

You can check if your boiler is covered under the Local Heroes 10 Year Boiler Warranty by following the below steps:

  • Sign in to your online account. If you don’t have an online account, you can register in a few quick steps. 
  • Select your Services account. 
  • If your 10 Year Boiler Warranty remains active, the details of your warranty will be displayed on the next screen, where you'll see the name of your plan and confirmation of the start and end date.

At the end of your 10 Year Warranty, or if your warranty has been terminated for breach of contract, Bord Gáis Energy will contact you to confirm your warranty is no longer active.  When your warranty is no longer active, you’re no longer entitled to free repairs, parts, and engineer costs* if your boiler breaks down, but we do have alternative boiler repair options available.
