Record wholesale energy costs force price rise for customers
Faced with record increases in wholesale energy costs, Bord Gáis Energy is forced to increase the price it charges customers for gas and electricity.

No business or residential customer will be disconnected for non payment at this time.
This announcement follows the Price Pledge commitment made to customers in September of this year, when Bord Gáis Energy were the first energy provider to freeze residential gas and electricity prices ahead of the winter period, until at least March 2021.
