With 12 months Fixed Term contract: For dual fuel offers - discounts are off our gas and smart electricity unit rates for 12 months. 5% discount thereafter. You must pay by direct debit and paperless billing to continue to receive these discounts.  For electricity only offers - discounts are off our smart electricity unit rates for 12 months. 5% discount thereafter. You must pay by direct debit and paperless billing to continue to receive these discounts. With 24 months Fixed Term contract (applicable for dual fuel only) discounts are off our gas and electricity unit rates for first 12 months. For the next 12 months of the contract, the discounts are 9% off Gas and 5% off Electricity. 5% discount thereafter. You must pay by direct debit and paperless billing to continue to receive these discounts. Please note that the Direct Debit payment will be for your full bill amount. If you are an existing Bord Gáis Energy customer and were on Level Pay then this will no longer apply. An early exit fee of €50 will apply if you leave before the end of your Fixed Term Contract.

Terms and Conditions of supply.

** Estimated Annual Bill  The Estimated Annual Bill is calculated based on an average annual consumption of 4200 kWh in electricity (as defined by the CRU) and Bord Gáis Energy’s Standard Smart Tariff (Urban) less any percentage discounts. Consumption is split as follows (as defined by the CRU):- Day – 52% Night – 39%, Peak – 9%. Free offers such as boiler services (where applicable) are NOT included. The EAB is only shown on our Standard Smart Tariff.  Please refer to Our Tariffs & Prices page for information on EAB.
