Bord Gáis Energy has seven Codes of Practice covering all areas of our service to our customers. 

Our Codes set out the way we carry out our business and the standards of service you can expect from us. Our Customer Charter underpins each of our Codes of Practice and sets out nine guaranteed standards.

We have a Special Services Register for those who require special services in relation to their gas supply. 

You will need to provide some personal details including your name, account number and status.

Energy Engage

Bord Gáis Energy supports the relaunch of the Energy Engage Code in 2023. This voluntary code has been in place since 2014 and was drafted by energy suppliers. It is designed to help customers who may have fallen behind on their energy bills or are concerned about managing their bills. We encourage our customers to communicate with us and engage actively to manage their energy bills effectively.
