These figures are based on the estimated annual gas bill of €1,482 for Bord Gáis Energy customers (on our gas standard tariff with no discounts) and may vary depending on actual usage, boiler model, heating habits, your own tariff and external conditions. The SEDBUK ratings provide a standardised estimate and may not reflect real-world efficiency gains.

Based on SEAI BER assessment data where Mains Gas Boilers are on average 76% efficient in houses built before 2002, in houses which have a BER of D or below and where there is no thermostat linked to the boiler to control room temperature.
