How do I check my balance?

Check your balance on your online account or by calling our automated phone service (IVR). 

To check your balance online, follow the steps below: 

  1. Sign in to your online account. Don’t have an account? You can register now.
  2. On 'My accounts' page select the account select the account you want to check the balance for.
  3. Scroll to the Overview section. Your account balance will be shown in the blue box on the left-hand side under ‘Account balance’.
  4. Depending on your payment type and billing cycle, you’ll also see whether a payment is due or if your account is up to date.
      


Please note: 

  • You can also check your balance using our automated phone service, just call 01 611 0172.
  • If you've made a recent payment that's not reflected on your latest bill, you can view your payment history on your online account
  • If you've made a payment online, via our app, SMS or the IVR, it can take up to 1 working day to appear on your account.  
  • If you’ve made a payment in a post office or retail store, it can take up to 3 working days to appear on your account.

Direct debit 

In the example below, this customer pays by Direct Debit.

  • They have no outstanding payments and their account balance is €0.00.

Level Pay 

In the example below, the customer is on Level Pay.

  • They have an outstanding payment of €113.74, which will be taken on the specified date.
  • Their account is in credit, with a balance of €169.72 (CR indicates credit).

Cash 

In the example below, the customer pays by cash.

  • They have no outstanding payments, and their account is in credit with a balance of €159.13 (CR indicates credit).

You can avoid unexpected bills and keep track of your balance by using our spend estimation tool.
Simply sign in to your online account and go to the ‘Cost & Usage’ tab.
