How do I switch to a Pay as You Go meter?

To switch to a Pay as You Go (PAYG) meter, get in touch using one of our online contact forms.

If your existing meter type is interchangeable between credit mode and Pay As You Go mode, we can issue a code to transfer the meter to Pay As You Go mode. Alternatively, a meter exchange may be required.

Please note:

  • It's not recommended that vulnerable customers switch to a Pay As You Go meter. 
  • Bills are not issued to Pay As You Go customers. However, you'll receive a statement twice a year. PAYG customers with outstanding debt will receive a statement three times a year.
