What payment options are available to me?

We've lots of payment options available - you can even schedule payments to suit you.

Direct Debit

This is the easiest and most convenient way to pay your bill. Your bank account will be debited 14 days after your bill issue date for the total amount due on your bill. If you would like to sign up for direct debit, you can do this in your online account. If you do not have an online account, you can register here

Alternatively, you can download the gas or electricity direct debit mandate in PDF format. For more information see How do I set up a direct debit?

Please note: if you make a payment between your bill being issued and your direct debit being taken, your direct debit amount will still be taken as normal, as we’ve already applied to the bank for the full amount and are unable to change this. In this instance, the payment will be used towards your next bill.

Level Pay

With Level Pay, we'll take the gas or electricity usage of your home over the last 12 months and apply our current prices to calculate your annual bill. We then simply divide by 12 to create monthly payments which we will take via Direct Debit. Click here to sign up for Level Pay.

Pay online

If you already have an online account, sign in to make a payment on your bill. If you don't have an online account, you can register here. We also have a Pay Now option which allows you to make a payment instantly.

Please note:

  • If you have an active direct debit, your bill amount will be taken automatically by direct debit 14 days after the bill is issued.
  • If you make a payment between your bill being issued and your direct debit being taken, your direct debit amount will still be taken as normal, as we’ve already applied to the bank for the full amount and are unable to change this. In this instance, the payment will be used towards your next bill.

Scheduled payments

Scheduled payments allow you to set up a recurring payment on a weekly or monthly basis, in addition to your existing payment method. For example, you can pay €10 a week towards your energy bills, to spread out your costs over time. This money will accumulate on your account and will be used towards your next bill. Regular payments of an amount you choose, at a time that suits you best, are applied to your credit or debit card.

You can set up a scheduled payment on your online account. See How do I set up a scheduled payment? for more information.
