Can I request a smart meter?

Customers with 24-hour meters or day/night meters can apply to ESB Networks for a prioritised installation of a smart meter. Your smart meter will be a “like for like” replacement. This means there will be no change to your current plan or discounts. It will also not affect when you will be billed.

If you change your mind about a smart meter installation, you can contact us on 01 611 01 52 to cancel your request. ESB Networks have advised that this can only be done up to the point of meter exchange.
