How does paperless billing work?

When you turn on paperless billing, we'll no longer send your bill in the post.  

Benefits of paperless billing:

  • Access your bills instantly and securely from any device, no more paper statements or letters.
  • Download previous bills whenever you need them.
  • Reduce waste and support a greener environment.

To turn on paperless billing, follow the steps:

  1. Sign in to your online account. Don’t have an account? You can register now.
  2. On the ‘My Accounts’ page, select the gas or electricity account you want to switch to paperless.
  3. Under the account card, you’ll see the Paperless toggle just below the three billing tiles.
  4. Switch the toggle on to activate paperless billing.

Please note:

  • Once you switch the toggle on, you're all set, your future bills will be available online in your account.
  • If you’re on a 12-month discount, your paperless discount may already be included.
    (This discount may not be available on all plans.)
  • You do not need to contact us to request a copy of your bill, you can view, download and print it anytime online. See How can I view and download my bills online?
