Bord Gáis Energy announces partnership with Energlaze Home Energy Upgrades

Bord Gáis Energy has announced a new partnership with Energlaze Home Energy Upgrades, one of Ireland’s leading retrofitting companies, which offers a wide range of energy-efficient and renewable products to help householders make their homes warmer, more comfortable and reduce their carbon footprint.

Since 2012, Energlaze Home Energy Upgrades has helped improve the overall comfort of thousands of Irish homes with a range of products such as windows and doors, glazing, solar panels, insulation and, more recently, heat-pumps. This new partnership will enable Bord Gáis Energy to offer a range of innovative in-home solutions to its customers, further extending its portfolio of products and services. 

Bord Gáis Energy customers can receive energy credits when qualifying Energlaze energy-saving products are installed in their homes. For example, a customer carrying out external insulation on their house could qualify for an SEAI grant of €6000 and get an additional €472 in energy credits by being a customer of Bord Gáis Energy and Energlaze Home Energy Upgrades.

To mark the launch of the partnership Bord Gáis Energy customers, who have signed up to the Rewards Club, can avail of a 10% discount on an Energlaze solar photovoltaic (PV) system. Installing solar PV panels will not only reduce electricity bills, but also a householder’s dependency on fossil fuels and their carbon footprint.
