What is a Live Smart tariff?

A Live Smart tariff is one of the price plans which we offer for customers who have a Smart meter installed. A Live Smart tariff is an interval Half Hourly (HH) Time of Use (TOU) tariff.  It's split into three different time bands:

Rate Rate	Time band Time band
Rate Day	Time band 8am to 5pm and 6pm to 11pm
Rate Night	Time band 11pm to 8am
Rate Peak	Time band 5pm to 6pm

Each time period has its own price for the electricity, which means you can choose to do more at the time that costs less. Your Smart meter data will be collected automatically every half hour. When signing up to this tariff, customers can choose whether to be billed monthly or every two months.
