How do I ensure my 10 Year Boiler Warranty remains active?

To ensure your warranty remains active:

  • Have your boiler serviced by Bord Gáis Energy every year for the duration of the 10-year warranty. Don’t worry - we’ll send you an annual reminder that your boiler is due to be serviced. 
  • Always contact Bord Gáis Energy to arrange a boiler repair appointment. If any other tradesperson services or repairs your boiler during the warranty period, without the agreement of Bord Gáis Energy, your warranty will no longer be valid. 
  • Ensure any boiler related payments are up to date.  

Failure to comply with the terms and conditions of your Local Heroes 10 Year Warranty, could result in your warranty being terminated or deactivated, meaning you’ll no longer be covered if your boiler breaks down.
