How does the welcome bonus work?

The welcome bonus is a credit applied to your Bord Gáis Energy account when you join us, or renew your contract on selected plans. Customers who sign up to an eligible electricity or gas plan will receive this credit, after completing registration and the cooling-off period.

The credit will be added within 100 days of sign-up (unless otherwise specified when signing up to the offer), and will appear on your next bill. If your bill is issued before the credit is applied, it will show on the following one.
