Smart bill payment options

We offer a number of ways to pay your smart electricity bill:

  • Direct debit: This is the easiest and most convenient way to pay your bill. Your bank account will be debited 14 days after your bill issue date for the total amount due on your bill. If you'd like to sign up for direct debit, you can do this on your online account. If you don't have an online account, you can register here.
  • Pay online: If you already have an online account, sign in to make a payment on your bill. We also have an instant Pay Now option.
  • 24-hour telephone payment service: You can call our payment service on 01 611 01 72 to pay with your debit or credit card. Please have your account number to hand.
  • Cash: At any retail outlet where you see Payzone or PostPoint sign, or at any Post Office, you can pay your bill in full or make a partial payment (suggested minimum of €20). Please have your bill with you.

Please note that Level Pay is not available for smart plans. If you're paying your bills through Level Pay and switch to a smart plan, your Level Pay agreement will end and your total balance will be calculated and included in your first smart bill.  If any balance is owed, this will be collected in full in your next direct debit payment.
