Can I move back to a non-smart plan?

If you're an existing Bord Gáis Energy customer and move to a smart plan, it’s not possible to move back to a non-smart plan. This is due to industry rules for smart meters. 

Once your meter is set to a smart tariff, it can't be reverted back to a 24-hour tariff. Visit cru.ie for more information.  

However, if you’re not happy with your current smart plan, our Smart All Day plan might be just what you need. It’s similar to your old non-smart plan and lets you track your usage online, while still offering one unit rate all day long.
