What happens to my Boiler Care plan if I sell my property?

It's not possible to transfer your Boiler Care plan to another property.

If you sell your property, the new owner can continue to benefit from your Complete Boiler Care +1/365 Boiler Care plan until the end of the current contract year, for which you've already paid.

You can only transfer this agreement to the new owner for the remainder of the current contract year. After this period, the new owner will need to sign up for a new boiler care plan with Bord Gáis Energy to keep receiving boiler care services. Please note that we don’t offer refunds for any unused portion of the contract year.
