When do additional service charges apply?

Your boiler service payment covers the first 45 minutes of work carried out by the Service Engineer. Additional time spent fault finding, replacing parts or components, and any additional work will be charged in 15-minute units at €25 per unit. 

The cost of replacement parts or components (where required) is charged separately and will not be included in the price of the standard Boiler Service. The Service Engineer will provide you with the cost of any required parts, and will only proceed to fit the required parts following your agreement to the cost of the required parts and the rate for additional labour. Certain parts may have to be ordered from outside the Republic of Ireland. These parts may require advance payment from you and you'll be advised of this at the time by the Service Engineer.

Customers who've purchased our Complete Boiler Care+1, 365 Boiler Care or Gas Boiler Repair and 365 Care plans, please note the following:

  • Some or all of the above additional costs may be covered within your contract. 
  • In the event of a boiler breakdown, Complete Boiler Care+1 provides cover for labour up to the value of €300 for the 12-month contract period. 
  • 365 Boiler Care provides cover for labour and parts (some conditions apply) up to the value of €1200 for the 12-month contract period.
