Why am I not eligible for all Smart tariffs?

If you have recently had your Smart meter installed, it will take 30 days to determine the remote connectivity of your Smart meter. During those first 30 days, you can sign up for a Standard Smart tariff, you will find more details on this tariff within our plans section online. If you check back after the 30 days, the connectivity of your Smart meter will be determined, and we can then confirm what Smart tariffs are available to you.
Please note: Some Smart tariffs are dependent upon the remote connectivity of your Smart meter. This is determined by ESB Networks. If your Smart meter has lower remote connectivity, we can provide you with a Standard Smart tariff, but your Smart meter may not be eligible for other Smart Time of Use (TOU) tariffs.
