Why is my 'Next Bill Between' date showing in the future but I have not received this month’s bill?
Your account has entered a new bill cycle, and it may take up to ten days for your bill to issue.
Don’t worry, this is common if we're waiting for a meter read from Gas Networks Ireland or ESB Networks.
To check your 'next bill between' date, follow the below steps:
- Sign in to your online account. Don’t have an account? You can register now.
- On 'My accounts' page select the account you wan to view.
- Go to the 'Overview' tab.
- Scroll down and you'll see three tiles. Scroll to the right to the middle tile, which confirms a date range of when you should expect your next bill to be issued. In the example image below, this customer expects to have their next bill issue between 13 October and 2 November. A good time for this customer to submit their reading would be between 8 October and 12 October.
Please note:
- If the date shown is in the future and you haven't yet received your bill, this is normal.
- It usually means we are still waiting for a meter read from ESB Networks (electricity) or Gas Networks Ireland (gas), who own, read and maintain all meters in Ireland.
- Your account has already entered a billing cycle, but the bill may take up to 10 days to issue once the read is received.
If your bill hasn’t issued after 10 days, please contact us online.
