Bord Gáis Energy Rewards Black Friday Offer 

We love rewarding our customers, and with this in mind, this offer gives existing customers an opportunity to avail of a Discount on the supply and installation of a Solar PV System and Battery as part of our Black Friday 2026 offer, exclusive to BGE Rewards. 

We recommend that you read these terms and conditions carefully, as they set out our responsibilities to customers who avail of the Discount and the relevant conditions which need to be complied with by you as a recipient of the Discount.  

By availing of the Discount, you agree to these terms and conditions. They are separate to and distinct from any other contracts you may have with us.

What the words mean  

“Bord Gáis Energy” or “we” or “us” means Bord Gáis Energy Limited, a limited company incorporated in Ireland with company number 463078 and having its registered address at 1, Warrington Place, Dublin 2 and, for the avoidance of doubt, includes all employees, servants, agents, subsidiaries, contractors and sub-contractors of Bord Gáis Energy (and all employees of any such agents, subsidiaries, contractors and sub-contractors). 

“Battery” means an energy storage device designed to store electrical energy generated by the Solar PV panels for later use, which shall be installed by us with the Solar PV System. 

“Discount” means the discount of €500 offered by us to you as a Bord Gáis Energy rewards customer, on the purchase of a Qualifying Product, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.  

“End Date” means 07 December 2025 at 23.59. 

“Qualifying Product” means the supply and installation of a Solar PV System and Battery. 

“Solar PV System” means an electric power microgeneration system designed to supply usable solar power by means of photovoltaics supplied, installed and commissioned by us at your property in accordance with the Solar PV Sale and Installation terms and conditions.  

“Solar PV Sale and Installation Terms and Conditions” means the General Solar PV Sale and Installation terms and conditions entered into between you and Bord Gáis Energy in respect of the Qualifying Product. 

 “You” means a Bord Gáis Energy Rewards customer at the time the Qualifying Product is purchased.  

Taking part 

  • The offer is for personal use only and cannot be used for business or commercial reasons.  
  • We reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to reject, withdraw or not provide you with the Discount.  
  • We want you to benefit from this offer in a responsible and considerate way. You agree not to use the Discount in any way that would be or could be perceived as spam, bulk messages or bulk posts, or in any type of messages or posts to third parties, or on online marketplaces or social media, for example, Amazon, Twitter / X or Facebook.  
  • You are solely responsible for any tax liabilities associated with your decision to avail of the Discount.  

How to redeem a Discount 

  • To redeem a Discount, you must: 
  • Be an existing Bord Gáis Energy Rewards customer 
  • register your interest in a Solar PV System with us before the End Date by visiting the link in Bord Gáis Energy rewards email 
  • not have previously purchased the Qualifying Product. 
  • The Discount will be applied against the cost of the Qualifying Product, in addition to any applicable discount made available to all customers by Bord Gáis Energy. Application of the Discount remains strictly subject to you paying in full the remaining cost of the Qualifying Product in accordance with the Solar PV Sale and Installation Terms and Conditions.  
  • The discount is available exclusively to customers who have entered into an agreement with us for the supply and installation of a Qualifying Product (Solar PV System and Battery). For avoidance of doubt, this Discount will not be applicable to customers purchasing a Battery for an existing Solar PV System. 
  • This offer runs from Wednesday 26th of November 2025 to the End Date Sunday 7th of December 2025. Only expressions of interest received by us via the designated link provided after 26th of November 2025 may avail of the Discount, subject to the eligibility criteria set out in these Terms and Conditions. 
  • Discounts may not be exchanged for cash or transferred to any other person. 

General  

  • To avail of this offer, you must be aged 18 or over and a resident of the Republic of Ireland.  
  • The offer will end on the 7th of December 2025. After the End Date, it will not be possible to redeem a Discount other than where you have completed an application for a Qualifying Product prior to the End Date. If you do not proceed with the installation, the Discount will not be available. 
  • From time-to-time, we may also make changes to the Discount. In such circumstances, any Discount we agreed to provide to you before we make changes to the Discount will continue apply, subject to any applicable qualifying criteria.  
  • We reserve the right to end the Discount prior to the End Date at our sole discretion 
  • We can review and revise these terms and conditions at any time. If we reasonably think the change will put you at a disadvantage, we’ll let you know what the changes are. You are under no obligation to use the Discount if you don’t like the changes we make. If you do take part in the Discount subsequent to any changes to these terms and conditions or the Discount, any such new or amended terms will apply.  
  • We will monitor compliance with the offer. In the event of fraud, abuse, misuse, or failure to comply with these terms and conditions, we cannot provide, withdraw or reclaim a Discount, end or suspend the Discount or stop you from participating in the Discount. 
  • It is your responsibility to consider how availing of the Discount may impact any government grants or subsidies which you are otherwise entitled to in relation to the Qualifying Product.
