What is a Free Time Saturday/Sunday smart plan?
This smart plan offers free electricity on either Saturday or Sunday.
Free Saturday/Free Sunday is a Time of Use tariff for customers who already have a smart meter installed. The time of use bands are:
- Day (8am to 11pm, except Peak)
- Night (11pm to 8am)
- Peak (5pm to 7pm)
- Free Time (9am to 5pm on Saturday or Sunday)
Each time period has its own price for electricity, meaning you can do more at a time that costs less. Free time can be either Saturday or Sunday from 9am to 5pm.
Customers on this plan will be charged for consumption outside of this time band (9am to 5pm on a Saturday or Sunday) at the times/bands set out above. Smart meter data will be collected every half hour.
